Featured Campaign

Helping Mississippi pharmacies create safer places for medication disposal.

Across Mississippi, communities continue to feel the impact of opioid misuse and accidental overdose. Too often, unused or expired medications remain unsecured in medicine cabinets, creating risk for misuse, diversion, and accidental poisoning.

Through the Pharmacy Partner Permanent Collection Site Campaign, NCADD is partnering with independent pharmacies to expand access to safe medication disposal statewide.

Serving Mississippi through education, prevention, referrals, and support.

Since its founding in 1949, NCADD of the Central Mississippi Area, Inc. has raised public awareness about substance use disorder throughout Mississippi. Today, that work continues through education, prevention, referrals, public advocacy, and access to community-based resources for individuals and families.
